NGINX Software Link Gone After Upgrade All

Manuel Omar Pineyro fa 11 anys updated by Eugene Pankov (Project coordinator) fa 11 anys 2
I'm new to the panel and Ubuntu in general so please bare with me.

I installed ajenti on a fresh install of Ubuntu Server 13.10. I installed MySQL, PHP, and NGINX prior to install of Ajenti.

On first login I could see NGINX under Software section and modify default conf file. I wen to package manager hit upgrade all and upon re-login NGINX was gone, but now I could manage Websites (which wasn't available initially). Ideally, I'd like to have both these things enabled. Is this possible?

Would appreciate some guidance.

Hi Manuel,

You have installed Ajenti V addon pack (which provides Websites panel section). However if you are using Ajenti V, you can't and shouldn't make manual changes to nginx configuration files. That's why "NGINX" section was automatically hidden.
You can either remove package ajenti-v, or continue to use Ajenti V ("Websites" section) to manage your web configuration.
Let me know if I can help you further!

Makes sense.

Can you point me to something that would explain how to add a new wordpress site and configure the ftp user account for the domain?
As for Wordpress, you only need to drop wordpress files into your website path (or use auto-downloader) and add one Content entry of type "PHP". Then click "Save" and that should be it.
On FTP tab, you can find access credentials for this website (you need to have ajenti-v-ftp-vsftpd package installed)
