network interface shows only local host

I'm running Ubuntu 11.04. eth0 is not connected. eth1 is connected to gigabit ethernet. the dashboard network interface widget is only showing 127.0.0.1. what happens?

Most probably, you're using NetworkManager, which is not supported in Ajenti.

 I have updated to 12.04. only eth0 is running in the system. the network plugin only shows interface "lo" with 127.0.0.1

what happens?
