How to link current running site to Ajenti V without loss of service

Kos mOS 10 years ago updated by Eugene Pankov (Project coordinator) 10 years ago 2
I have a Linode running 2 gb ram and an LAMP LEMP hybrid environment. I would like to use Ajenti as our main CPANEL, yet is there a way to use existing DB for a new site added to Ajenti V, the site runs wordpress under apache, can Ajenti V migrate this to Nginx without struggle?
Answer
No, you can't "just" migrate stuff from Apache to NGINX. You should first handle the Apache->NGINX config migration, and then add it to Ajenti V.

Ajenti has this font style which i and l looks same.

File manager - Failihaldur, but in Ajenti it looks: Falllhaldur
File systems - Failisüsteemid => Falllsüsteemid
and so on...

When will add support for Arch Linux

someimpossible 11 years ago updated by Eugene Pankov (Project coordinator) 11 years ago 0
Probably been waiting for about a year
Answer
Currently, Ajenti can be installed with pip install ajenti, however there are some plugins that lack Arch support. This is because Arch isn't our primary focus of development, and Arch support is being added by individual committers who undertook this hard task on their own.

Does Ajenti V replace a previously installed equivalent?

WNSCooke 9 years ago updated by janxb 9 years ago 1
Hi,
Does installing the various Ajenti V components overwrite their equivalents if they've already been installed? For example, will installing ajenti-v-mysql overwrite an existing mysql installation; will installing ajenti-v-nginx overwrite an existing nginx installation?
Thank you.
